Weekly In-Person
Interpersonal Process Group

What is an interpersonal process group?
An interpersonal process group is an effective form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another. There are many different approaches to group therapy but they share in common creating a safe, supportive, and cohesive space to address personal, relationship and societal issues.

How does it work?
Group therapy provides a place where you come together with others to share problems or concerns, to better understand your own situation, and to learn from and with each other.

You will learn about yourself and improve your relationships with other people.

You will gain self-understanding and skills for dealing with your concerns.

In a typical 90 minute session, members work to express their own challenges and aspirations, feelings, ideas, and reactions as freely and honestly as possible. Members learn not only to understand themselves and their own issues but also become therapeutic helpers for other group members (AGPA 2024).

Can you say more? â€‹

Group acts as a microcosm of your life and the roles you play in your family of origin, in your workplace and in your community.

What are your patterns?

Do you try and take care of everybody?

Do you try and control others?

Is it hard to be vulnerable in a group?

Common issues individuals explore in group are struggles with social anxiety, trust issues, self esteem, life transitions, setting boundaries and much more.
